My Top 5 Favourite Exercises and Why!

Walking

I find walking melts the "extra" right off! I also love that walking works out all my aches and pains from my daily workouts. It's a great way to stretch muscles out! 

Standing overhead dumbbell presses

I love strong-looking shoulders! Overhead dumbbell presses target the tops of your shoulders but also engages your upper back and core! I love incorporating these into my everyday workout routine. 

Situps

Although they get a bad rap as being too basic, situps are an effective way to target your abdominal muscles. If you have lower back problems, stick with a crunch, which requires just your upper back and shoulders to lift off the ground. An exercise ball helps with lower back issues too!

Squats

Oh, my Squat Becky! Look at her Butt! You want a good booty Squats are a must! Yes, they burn, you will have to power through. You will target glutes, hamstrings and quads! 

 

Glute Bridges

The number one reason I like glute bridges is it helps with flexibility! It also loosens up tight muscles. It is one of the most effective exercises to tone the glutes and the hamstrings. This lower body workout also works on core stability, hip muscles, and the lower back muscles. The best part is its not a hard workout. Laying on the gym matt you just have to remember to drive hips up and tighten glute to get the full impact!
